Acoustic Kids Showcase

Once again this year the Walnut Valley Festival will offer the Acoustic Kids Talent Showcases. THESE ARE NOT CONTESTS! They are opportunities for young pickers and singers (through age 16) to perform on the festival stage. Accompanists may be any age. Interested young musicians, beginner through pro, should send an application form and a tape of two to four pieces to: Swift River Music, P.O. Box 231, Gladeville, TN 37071 by August 25, 2008. Space is limited and selected performers will be notified by August 31, 2008. Call WVA at 620-221-3250 for more information and application form.

Those selected to perform will be notified by August 31, 2008. Please include a demo tape of 2-4 tunes/songs. Submit a separate form for each child who would like to perform.
