Driving

The Walnut Valley Festival is held at the Cowley County Fairgrounds which are surrounded by a meander of the Walnut River at the west edge of Winfield, Kansas. Winfield is located about 45 miles southeast of Wichita, Kansas.

Effective April 3, 2005, Winfield is no longer served by Greyhound Lines, Inc. Their nearest stop is in Wichita, Kansas.
