ARTS & CRAFTS, COAST TO COAST

Kids having a good time Some of the finest artists and craftspersons in the United States will gather this year at Winfield, along with outstanding luthiers and others, to help provide exceptional variety and quality for festival fans. They come from Washington to Florida, from California to Pennsylvania, and twenty other states to display and demonstrate their skills. Over 15% of the craftspersons are new to the festival this year, and several are not new, but return after a long absence.

Some shop, some sleep. Glenn Dooley will share his skill in caning and woodworking. Peggy Willcut will share her wheatweaving, and Steve Ashley’s pottery, especially his face mugs, will add fun to the show. Many others will also be demonstrating methods for creating their special items, many one-of-a-kind. You'll also find weaving, basket making, woodcrafts, caricatures, watercolors, acrylics, sculpture, glass creations, chairs, dolls, jewelry, leather, sandals, tie-dye and batik, western art, metalwork, gourds, clothing, hats, and more.

The "Pantry" is located at the west end of the Craft Pavilion. You'll find spices and other seasonings and mixes, hot sauces, jelly, packaged snacks, honey, relish, jerky, cooking aids, and more.
