Marquee Mirror: A Virtual Talent
Show for Cowley County

All residents of Cowley County are eligible to enter and there is no entry fee. Residents may submit more than one entry.

Categories will be divided into Youth (which will be 18 and under) and adult. The categories will be:

Visual Arts, which may include

• Fine Arts (Painting, Mixed Media, 3-dimensional art such as clay, ceramics, or wood, Photography, etc.)
• Fine Crafts (Cross Stitch, Quilting, Knitting, Crocheting, Woodworking, etc.)

And

Performing Arts, which may include

• Instrumental Music
• Vocal Music
• Dance
• Acting and Oral Interpretation
• Poetry and Literary Readings

Entries will be accepted starting on Monday, March 1st and will be accepted until 11:59 P. M. on Friday, March 18th.

Beginning March 21st, members of the public may vote for entries of their choice, with voting ending at 11:59 P. M. on March 31st. Anyone who has not submitted an entry into the contest can vote for their favorite entries. Those who have submitted an entry may not vote in their own category but may vote for any category they do not have an entry in. Each vote will cost $5 and voting is limited to one vote per IP address per category.

The winner of each category, Youth Visual Arts, Adult Visual Arts, Youth Performing Arts, and Adult Performing Arts will receive a prize package donated by businesses of Cowley County. Prize package information will be available here at a later date. Winners will be announced on April 1 at 8:00 P. M.

Proceeds from the voting will go the Marquee Performing Arts Center and Winfield Arts and Humanities Council.
