PREREGISTRATION OPEN: 8AM Monday, July 3 – Sunday, July 9
(This process is NOT required in order to camp at the Walnut Valley Festival and should be ignored by any patrons who do not intend to take part in BOTH Lineup AND Land Rush)
You may preregister for Land Rush by prepaying City of Winfield AND WVF rough camping fees for 1 camping spot ($260 + service fees) per transaction. This fee covers camping without electricity for the City of Winfield for 7 days (August 26 – September 1) at $5 per day and for Walnut Valley for 15 days (September 2 – 16) at $15 per day. Electricity is not available during preregistration but will be available to purchase upon arrival to grounds.
Preregistrations will be limited to 250 spots in West and 400 spots in Pecan. At the time of preregistration, the system will assign you to the earliest available row (A-D for West, A-F for Pecan). If you would like a better chance at having two spots in the same row, you are free to select a later row. This Row will be noted on your receipt email which will come from ETIX. We will take preregistrations by mail-in forms as well, but you will be placed in the earliest row remaining when we enter your registration in the system. Mail-in registrations must be postmarked from June 28- July 9 to be accepted and will be entered into the system in the order received. Completed forms may also be dropped off at our office during regular business hours (M-F: 9am-12pm, 1pm-5pm) while preregistration is open. Please note that no mail or walk-in registrations will be entered before 1pm on July 3.
After preregistration, in early August, you will receive a message (by email if provided, by regular mail for others) with your Row Assignment Form and more specific instructions including your assigned time for Lineup on August 26. YOUR ROW ASSIGNMENT FORM MUST BE PRINTED BEFORE YOU ARRIVE AND DISPLAYED PROMINANTLY AT LINEUP. Be sure to verify that hq@wvfest.com is on your email’s safe sender list to ensure delivery.

Please Note
- DO NOT preregister unless you intend to take part in BOTH Lineup (August 26) AND Land Rush (September 7).
- Campers will be asked to provide the Name (First and Last), City, State, and Phone Number for the person who will be using the permit during checkout. This information will be required in addition to the contact information for the purchaser that relates to the credit/debit card used.
- Any camper in line prior to September 2 must pay City of Winfield camping fees upon arrival through September 1. Preregistration Fee includes City Of Winfield Rough Camping starting August 26.

If you wish to take part in Lineup and Land Rush, but do not wish to preregister, you may do so by simply showing up after Lineup to pay your fees and proceed into the staging areas for West or Pecan Grove campgrounds. Please be aware that it will take most of the day on August 26 to get everyone who preregistered into their rows. With that in mind, we suggest that anyone who did not preregister wait until at least August 27 to arrive to get in line, although you may save yourself money and trips by waiting longer. In 2022, there were approximately 50 campers (combined West & Pecan) who did not preregister and chose to arrive before WVF rates began, so choosing to wait will likely have little impact on your place in line.
