Walnut Valley Festival intends to offer guitar lessons to youth in Cowley County, Kansas. The program will provide guitars (for those who don’t have them already) for the duration of the classes and instruction will take place at Bob’s Place, 920 Main St., Winfield Kansas
The program is intended for beginning students ages 12–18 and is designed to increase access to music education for youth who may not otherwise have the opportunity to receive formal instruction. An instructor has been found, and funding is available to cover instructional costs.
Walnut Valley Association would like to thank Danny Ginn, owner of Danny Ginn Stringworks in Winfield, KS, for the generous donation of a one-of-a-kind guitar, which was raffled at the 53rd Walnut Valley Festival in 2025.
